ITANAGAR, Apr 22:  Breaking all records of daily increase of Covid cases in the raging second wave, Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday saw an addition of 110 new cases which took the active caseload tally to 380.   
The ICR has retained the first spot by adding 42, followed by West Kameng 19, LDV 14, East Siang 9, Namsai and Lower Subansiri 7 each, Changlang 4, Lohit and Tawang 2 each and one each by Papum Pare, Lower Siang, West Siang and Upper Subansiri. Among these additions, symptomatic and asymptomatic cases are 24 and 85 respectively. 
Recoveries have dropped from the earlier day’s 16 to 9 (ICR 4; West Kameng 4; Papum Pare 1).The state’s total recovery/discharge count now stands at 16860.
2741 samples were collected on Thursday. District-wise major collections are: ICR 859, Papum Pare 543, West Kameng 267, Namsai 234, East Siang 198, LDV 183 and Lohit 117.
Currently, there are 11 Covid patients at DCH Chimpu and 1 at DCH Pasighat.
