Chongkham, Jan 21: The 5th Edition of Arunachal Yuva Samanvay 2026 was inaugurated today at Chongkham with youths participating from 24 districts. 
Inaugurating the 4-day event, Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs, SJETA, Law, Legislative & Justice, Kento Jini encouraged Arunachal’s youth to channel their energy on the right path for success and to preserve their culture and tradition.
Mutchu Mithi, MLA and Advisor to the Minister of Home & Education encouraged the youth to become good role models and stay away from drugs.
Special Guest Chau Zingnu Namchoom, MLA-cum-Advisor to the Minister of SYA & RWD spoke about the state’s rich cultural diversity, unity, and encouraged active youth participation.
The programme wrapped up with the declaration and inauguration of Yuva Kriti stalls. Abu Tayeng, Secretary SYA, DC Namsai C.R Khampa, DC Lohit K.N Damo, Director of Youth Affairs  Ramesh Linggi, Director of Sports  Tadar Apa, ADC Chongkham, S.P. Namsai, ZPC Namsai, ZPM Chongkham and HoDs attended the inaugural function.
