ITANAGAR, Apr 10: The National Movement for Old Pension Scheme (Arunachal Pradesh) announced that it will join the nation-wide peaceful rally (Pension Samvedanik March) and stage a rally from Akashdeep up to Tennis Court near IG Park on April 16 next.
This movement is being organized to show our anguish to the government and to show that new pension scheme (NPS) is unable to meet the lowest necessity of social standard of living after retirement from job. NPS has broken the social, morale and financial backbone of the retired employees who have provided more than 30 years of satisfactory services to the state and nation, it said in a press handout.
