ITANAGAR, May 13: The State police has registered 12 cases and arrested 41 people under the Arunachal Pradesh Unlawful Activities Prevention Act across the state during the 72-hour bandh called from May 10-12 last, informed Superintendent of Police (Crime & SIT) Rohit Rajbir Singh (IPS).
The SP further said that this time the police won’t spare anyone who tries to disrupt the peaceful environment, and identified people who were involved in destruction during the bandh. There will be appropriate legal action against those involved in any form of violence, he added.
"There is a report about financial involvement in the bandh call. We will do every investigation to find out the linkages of financial involvement to endorse the bandh called by some vested interest people," he added.
The Arunachal Pradesh Police said that  this time it will keep a strict vigil on all the arrestees and keep all the legal procedures open to rope them again if they try to create any nuisance again by indulging in calling bandh.
Meanwhile, the police urged the organization and individuals to refrain from calling bandhs and come for talks for an amicable solution.
The 72hr bandh was called by activists Sol Dodum, Tana Tamar,Taw Poul and Arunachal Nari Shakti and others demanding arrest of former APPSC Chairman Nipo Nabam and fulfillment of all the 13 charter of demands placed by the PAJSC .
However, in the wee hours of 9th May, police picked up all the bandh callers from their respective private residences under APUAPA . After arrest of all the activists, protests were observed in East Siang, West Siang, Upper Subansiri, Leparada and East Kameng districts.  
Meanwhile, while demanding the immediate release of all the arrestees, family of Tana Tamar speaking to few local news portals alleged atrocities by police while arresting Tamar  claiming that police damaged the private vehicle of activist Sol Dodum.
