ITANAGAR, Jun 30: After recently being promoted to the first team of I-League side Rajashthan United FC along with two other fellow Arunachali players, Yash Chikro, a young talented football player from Arunachal Pradesh added another feather to his hat by making the cut for the final phase of selection trials of the National U-19 Boys Football Team which is scheduled to be held from July 3 to 7 at Bhuvneshwar,Odisha.
National U-19 team will take part in ensuing U-19 SAFF Championship 2023 to be held in the month of September next.
Yash, son of Bakhrim Chikro hails from Lohit District, has been playing his club football in Rajasthan with Rajasthan United FC.
Arunachal Pradesh Football Association has extended its best wishes to the young football prodigy for the trials.
