NAMSAI, Nov 5: The fourth Edition of the Arunachal Literature festival  after three daylong  successful sessions came to an end here today with various  literary workshops  in packed auditoriums.
The sessions in the 3rd day  included  discussion on Chronicles of Arunachal, Poetry recitation, short story reading, workshop on poetry and noble writing, Rainbow conclave, Discussions on the books of Padmashree YD Thongchi  & Jamuna Bini and release of a book “Lipibadh Hona” written by Snehlata Negi by Sathyanarayan Mundayur (Uncle Mosa).
Workshop on novel writing was conducted by Jayant Madhav Bora, a Sahitya Akademi awardee  Assamese novelist. He giving orientation on skills of writing novel and short stories, he said strong mindset hardwork, observation of society, social systems, emotions, positive attitude and a strong message are required to be inculcated to become a good novelist and short story writer. 
Administering the workshop on creative writing renowned poet,writer and Tibetian refugee activist Tenzing Tsundue gave orientation on automatic writing skills and read his poem “When it rains in Dharmshala”. The desire of ink by Mamang Dai,The house in the hills by Ponung Ering Angu and Father on the Earth by  Robin Ngangdam were also read.
Ravi singh an eminent publisher and co-founder of Speaking Tiger chaired the session on story reading. He was joined by Dr.Gumlat Maio, Bunty Tao, Snehalata Negi nd Gumkang Sumyang. Bunty Tao presented audio visuals on significance of social distancing prevalent in various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh.
Eminent authors, poets, novelist, scholars  and other intellectuals in the field of literature from across the country participated in the last day of the festival.
Students from various schools  and college of the Namsai and Lohit districts, government employees and General public   in large numbers  had thronged all the session till the end in the evening.
Padmashree YD Thonchi, President, Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society, under whose guidance the festival was  organized was literally excited at the grand success of Arunachal Literature Festival-2022 and expressed his  happiness and satisfaction at the grand success of the festival. He thanked the local people for the hospitality and the District Administration for the support in making the festival a grand success.
The Director of Information and Public Relations, Onyok Pertin also thanked the District Administration for the logistic support,  the members of APLS including the Namsai district Unit for sharing the responsibility in making the festival a success. He  also  thanked the schools and colleges in Namsai and Lohit districts  for attending the sessions till the end.
APLS General Secretary, Mukul Pathak said, the participation of students and officers of all ranks in the festival particularly visiting the book stalls was appreciable and encouraging.
The concluding day of the festival also paid rich tribute  to Bharat Ratna Dr.Bhupen Hazarika on  his 11th death anniversary.
The festival which was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on 3rd November last is organized by the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society.
