SEPPA, Aug 31: The Arunachal Pradesh, along with the Indian Army, is making all-out efforts to trace Everester Tapi Mra and his companion Niku Dao, who reportedly went missing while on an expedition to Mount Khyarisattam, one of the highest peaks of Arunachal Pradesh.
One officer from  11 Para (SF),  one JCO and 16 other ranks officials, one JCO and 10 others  officials from  Arunachal Scouts, 10 members from 7 Dogra Regiment as well as one  Medical Officer with Nursing Assistant and Ambulance, have been deployed, informed Deputy Commissioner East  Kameng, Pravimal Abhishek Polumatla.
In addition a medical team is being set set up at Longchu and ambulances stationed at Veo, five satellite phones to be used for constant communication, 60 porters arranged for supporting the foot insertion team.
"We have trying our best to fly the helicopter but inclement weather is creating hindrances," the deputy commissioner said. 
The helicopter Search and Rescue team is being led by  Major Navneet Singh Rana, 11 PARA (SF) with two  ALH Helicopters and two Cheeta Helicopters. Ground Search and Rescue team  is being led by  Captain Longjam Posy Singh of  11 PARA (SF) comprising of 34 personnel  along with three mountaineers from East Kameng & Kra Daadi Districts which includes  Tame Bagang, Tagit Sorang and Taro Hai. 
They will move for the operation on September 1st, informed Polumatla.
Tapi Mra had taken up an expedition to Mt. Kyarisattam (Mt. Chiumo) which is located on the India-Tibet border at an altitude of 6890 mts. on July 28 last . A team comprising of one Assistant (Niku Dao) and 11 porters was mobilised for this expedition. Porters belong to villages of Warram, Longchu, Sario Sari, Wallong and Yakli villages of East Kameng.
