In the ongoing Bharti Pravaha, a festival of devotional music of North East India being organized at Dharmanagar, North Tripura by Sangeet Natak Akademi North-East Centre, Guwahati in association with Department of Information & Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Tripura, a team led by Delong Padung and Mirnia Game represented Arunachal Pradesh in the mega event.

 

Speaking to this reporter from Tripura on Friday, Delong Padung, Ustad Bhismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar awardee said that, his team performed a devotional song of the Adi community.

In the 3-day long devotional music festival of North East from March 16-18, artistes from all the 8 states of North East India performed their devotional music and enthralled the audiences.  The team of Padung included other singers like Elizabeth Ratan, Yalek Mibang and Star Siram etc.
