Shillong, Nov 15: Arunachal bagged three gold, four silver and two bronze in Karate-Kumite events at the 2nd North East Olympic Games 2022, played today at the SAI Indoor Hall, NEHU near Shillong.
The first gold came in the Junior Boy’s 50kg, with Rota Riga winning gold. The second came in the Junior Girls 50kg, from Feyang Kino while the third gold was won by Prabu Mengnia in the Senior Men 55kg.
In the Junior Boy’s 55kg, Guma Lingram won silver; In the Women -45kg, silver went to Santi Sikom. The third one was won by Karsang Yanga in the Women -50kg.
The two bronzes came in the Senior men 50kg, by Tachi Babang and in the Women -55kg by Yame Gyadi.
