Borduria, Sep 15: Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) organised a mass Self Help Group (SHG), saving bank account opening drive at Borduria in Tirap District.
The main objective of the drive is to bridge the gap between Banks and Women SHGs promoted under ArSRLM through opening saving bank account of the SHGs as initial mandatory activity of DAY-NRLM.
As on date a total of 170 SHGs have Saving Bank Account out of 341 SHGs in total, of which 43 Accounts in Apex Bank and 127 in SBI. The campaign drive will be carried out in the entire district during September and October months to ensure 100% SHG Bank Account Opening of SHGs promoted by ArSRLM.
Toge Tarak, District Mission Manager, DMMU Khonsa (TCL) ArSRLM, briefed the SHG members on functioning of ArSRLM, importance of Financial Inclusion and Saving Bank Account of SHGs promoted under ArSRLM.
The program was attend by 108 SHG members (signatories of the SHGs), Block Mission Manager Khonsa, DTC IBCB, DMMU Khonsa, BMMU Officials and entrepreneurs.
