PASIGHAT, Jul 25: Army personnel from Sigar Military Station today voluntarily donated blood. The humanitarian drive by Indian Army was undertaken in coordination with the Pasighat Bakin Pertin General Hospital administration and medical fraternity.
Reportedly during the camp, Haemoglobin testing and medical screening of the blood donors was also thoroughly carried out and more than 100 units of life-saving blood were collected during the day.
Army officers on the occasion informed that it was a part of the larger responsibilities towards nation building and further assured that Indian Army will remain committed to the wellbeing of its citizens and being the protectors of the nation will participate in such activities in future too to save precious lives.
