ITANAGAR, Jun 20: Members of the Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society (APWWS), Aalo Branch  alongwith women vendors conducted cleanliness drive at market area of  Aalo in West Siang district.
Earlier,  APWWS Aalo led by its President Marbom Riba Bagra and her team visited the renovation site of Urban Market Shed at Old Market.
Renovation work is carried out by the Dept. of Urban and Housing Development , Aalo for permanent shed for the women vendors of Aalo. The DUDA Market shed will pave way for the women vendor to be more economically independent.
The unit is encouraging and motivating   the women vendors towards economic empowerment.
