ITANAGAR, Dec 26:   Students Union Movement of All Arunachal (SUMAA) alleged the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) of being partial in the ongoing investigation process in the APPSC Job Scam and urged them to investigate without any pressure or partiality.  
Speaking to the reporters at the press club on Monday, General Secretary SUMAA, Akom Suraj Ligu claimed that despite sufficient evidence provided by various sources, SIT failed to arrest officials involved in the APPSC Job Scam. We have trust on the SIC but we cannot trust the way they are investigating this case, claimed Ligu.
 "I have closely monitored the series of incidents related to the APPSC Job scam, and surprisingly Commission members have not been arrested. Whereas, even SIC has no clue about the CCTV footage of the strong rooms," stated General Secretary SUMAA.
 He also alleged that the investigation authority has failed to invoke Section 164 CrpC against all the arrested accused, instead, section 161 CrpC has been invoked which may weaken the case.
" 164 CrPC is a strong section where the authority records any confession or statement made by the accused in the course of an investigation whereas  161 CrpC  provides for oral examination of a person by any investigating officer when such person is supposed to be acquainted with the facts and circumstances of the case," he added.
Ligu also claimed that Police are tracking down whistleblowers who are exposing various individuals involved in the job scam. Instead of taking assistance or providing support, Police are tracking down those individuals or groups, especially those active on social media.
 While supporting the bandh called by ANSU on December 27, SUMAA also appealed to the denizens, students and aspirants to support the movement to curb corruption in the state.
