ITANAGAR, Dec 19: Reiterating its demands, Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee-APPSC has appealed to the state government to immediately redress their existing 13-point charter of demands submitted by the All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) in connection to the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) cash for job scam.
Addressing the media at the press club here today, an aspirant Tadak Nalo said that the committee had to come before the public again due to the lackadaisical attitude of the state government to redress its demands. He further said aspirants need to clear the confusion about the joint steering committee to the public and the negligence in the investigation process by the Special Investigation Cell (SIC).  
Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee-APPSC is an organization comprising of students and aspirants of different examinations under the purview of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). The committee along with the guidance of ANSU and other organizations is in the fight for justice in regard to the recent APPSC cash for job scam.
While appreciating the CBI team for filing a chargesheet in the AE (Civil) examination case, the committee expressed discontentment over the slow pace of investigation into other cases relating to the cash for job scam and opined the SIC should dig in more to arrest officials involved from the APPSC.
“So far only Taket Jerang (Officer) has been arrested by the SIC. But we are of the firm belief that he (Jerang) is not only the officer from the commission involved. Therefore, the SIC should dig in more to arrest officials from the commission,” Nalo said.
Nalo also said that the committee is yet to receive the chargesheet filed by the SIC and CBI. However, the committee will wait for the copy which will ultimately disclose the true sense of the investigation carried out by the CBI and SIC. Moreover, the integrity of the investigation agency will be solely determined on the charge sheet.
“The entire cash for job scam is unprecedented and we appeal to the public to support the cause. This fight is not confined to the aspirants of today but to build a better path for our future generations,” he said, adding that the total arrests till date by the agency is just 10 percent of the total.
Meanwhile, he also appealed to the public to donate to the committee to support their legal fight in the court against the arrested accused.        
The demands include declaring entire exams null and void, wherever question paper was leaked. Immediate arrest of the chairman, secretary members, and all the officials of the commission, ED, and Court-monitored probe, immediate dismissal, and termination of state government officials involved. Conduct of examination by the UPSC.
The APPSC should not declare a new examination date until the investigation process is completed; a new SOP for the examination is to be prepared with the participation of at least 2 aspirants. Mudang Yabyang, a PwD candidate should be appointed in the post of lecturer at a polytechnic college, reward for whistleblower Gyamar Padang who blew the lid on the APPSC cash for job scam.
Other demands included the three members IAS committee report on AE (Civil) paper leakage to be made public, recall of three state government officials posted under APPSC, and compensation to all the aggrieved candidates with an amount of Rs. 5 lakhs each to be ensured.
