ITANAGAR, Oct 3: The qualifying round for the ensuing 46th APP Raising Day finale of Zone B which includes firing, football, volleyball and singing competitions is underway at PTC Banderdewa. The competition was inaugurated by Principal PTC, Surendra Choudhary amidst a mammoth gathering today.
The Zone B of Police comprises of PTC Banderdewa, SP Capital Complex, SP Yupia and 4th IRBN Jully who will compete against each other to represent the Zone in the forthcoming  46th  APP Raising Day finale.
In his address, Choudhary exhorted the participants to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and encouraged them to perform to their best.  He also informed the tournament aimed to promote values of sports amongst police personnel and to give them a platform to showcase their hidden talent in sports.
Police units and IRBNs have been divided into 8 zones and these events are being organised at respective district headquarters.
