ITANAGAR, Jul 19: The Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council (APMC) today held its executive council meeting at the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) conference hall, Naharlagun wherein the members present adopted a resolution to place a proposal for construction of Council Bhawan to the state government shortly.

The meeting was chaired by Director Medical Education cum President APMC, Dr RD Khrimey and attended by all council members.

The council observed that the construction of council Bhawan is important as to properly regulate all other councils such as Dental, Homeopathic, Medicine, Pharmacy, etc. by bringing them under one roof.

In this regard, the meeting unanimously decided to submit a detailed project report (DPR) to the state government for immediate approval for funds.

The meeting also suggested all Clinical Laboratories in the state to follow strictly the rule and regulations under Clinical Establishment Act, 2010 and Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and pointed out that all lab reports before being handed out to patients must be signed by laboratory physicians or signed by MBBS degree holder in case of absence of lab physicians.
