NAHARLAGUN, Aug 25: The Arunachal Pradesh Cooperative Training Centre (APCTC), Naharlagun, under Principal Kenbi Riba, successfully conducted a two-day training programme on “Business Development Plan (BDP) Formulation for Dairy and Fishery Cooperatives” from August 24 to 25.
The programme aimed at strengthening the managerial and entrepreneurial capabilities of dairy and fishery cooperatives by providing practical knowledge on preparation of sustainable Business Development Plans.
A total of 57 participants attended the training. The sessions covered key areas such as business planning, identification of viable business opportunities, financial planning, marketing, value addition and sustainable management of cooperative enterprises.
The resource persons highlighted the importance of well-prepared BDPs in improving the operational efficiency, profitability and long-term sustainability of cooperative societies. Interactive sessions also provided participants an opportunity to discuss their experiences and challenges.
The programme concluded with an emphasis on applying the knowledge gained to strengthen dairy and fishery cooperatives and improve livelihood opportunities for their members.
