ITANAGAR, Jul 5:In a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister, the Arunachal Pradesh Colleges Forum (APCF) has demanded for creation of posts of teaching & no-teaching staff in various colleges of the state.

The Forum stated that no single post of teaching and non-teaching staff has been created for seven Government Colleges of, Daporijo, Geku, Basar, Roing, Doimukh, Nyapin etc due to which students have to face lots of hardships.

Also claiming that Palin Model College, which was inaugurated in the year 2014, is yet to start functioning, the forum requested the concern department to make it immediately functional for betterment of poor students of Kra-Dadi district.

Further informing about that shortage of subject teachers in five polytechnic colleges at Dirang, Laying, Pasighat, Namsai and Roing, the forum sought government to look into the matter seriously and depute sufficient teachers in all colleges.
