ITANAGAR, Jul 7: The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has called for re-launching of a scheme initiated by former Chief Minister, Nabam Tuki in the year 2013-14, wherein the government provided Sanitary Napkins for girl students studying in government schools from Classes VI to XII which was discontinued by the Khandu led BJP government.

The APCC said that re-launching of the scheme will immensely benefit poor students and will encourage better hygiene and help girls in overcoming the barrier to attend classes regularly.
