ITANAGAR, Aug 5:
Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee has vehemently condemned the attack on Vice President of All India Congress Committee, Rahul Gandhi at Banaskantha, Gujarat during his visit to flood affected areas. The APCC will join the nationwide mass protest against the Centre following the attack on Gandhi.
PM Modi led BJP government at the Centre has crossed all the limits wherein a person like Rahul Gandhi has also not been spared, the party said while deriding that the slogan ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikash’ has remained in words only.
Meanwhile, APCC castigated Pema Khandu led BJP state government for total failure in maintaining law and order in the state. ‘The safety and security of the common people is at stake for which Congress Party as a constructive opposition has raised the issue before the government on many occasions,’ it said.
Also asserting that the state sustained heavy damage during current monsoon, the APCC further said that the meager relief fund which has been allocated for Arunachal Pradesh must be utilized properly and reach the affected people.
