ITANAGAR, May 26:Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has congratulated  Arunachal Pradesh and Assam as India’s longest river bridge,  ‘Bhupen Hazarika Setu’ was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modion Friday which brings both states closer and reinforce the road connectivity  and transport network of the entire northeast region.

 The Bhupen Hazarika Setu will definitely improve the road transport network and ease the travel hurdles of over two lakhs population of the two states which commutes on a daily basis. The ‘Setu’ will also be beneficial for promotion of tourism, access to health and education facilities, the APCC said in a statement.
