Yupia Jan12: One day Annual Skill Mela-Cum-Sensitization and Awareness Rally 2021-22 was organized at Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Yupia by the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in collaboration with the Papum Pare District Administration today.
Chairperson Zilla Parishad,Chukhu Bablu, while addressing participants suggested the unemployed youth of the district take part in such important rallies in order to avail the benefits being provided by the department in collaboration with various Training Providers across the country.
He also said that instead of running after government jobs which are in limited numbers, unemployed youths must be skilled in every sector for the development of society as well as the state and urged the participants to take the programme seriously. 
Earlier, T.Rakshap, Principal ITI, informed that the Annual Skill Mela-Cum-Sensitization & Awareness Rally is being held across the state to provide a platform to unemployed youths to get the opportunity to be trained as skilled workers and earn better incomes.
Representatives of various Training Providers viz. Jettwings, Assam Professional Academy, Mining SSC, Reflexions, JBM Group of Industries, Info IT Solutions, Pragati Edutech, Quess Corp Ltd.,Zentek, Valeur Fabtax Pvt. Ltd. etc., participated in the mela. A total of 150 unemployed youths registered under different training providers.
