NAMSAI,  Jul 5: ANM and ASHA kits with bicycles  were  distributed  today in a programme held  here at the Namsai Town Club by  MLAs Chau Zingnu Namchoom, Lekang Jummum Ete Deori, attended by   DC Namsai Dr. Tapasya Raghav and DMO Dr. Nang Soreya Namchoom.
ASHA kits  distribution is an  initiative of  the district with support from the elected representatives and OIL under CSR and ANM kits have received  technical support from UNICEF. 
DMO highlighted the aim of the programme and the DC expressed thankfulness to the elected representatives for supporting the initiative. She stated that Namsai is the first district in the state to come up with such a beneficiary initiative and urged all ANMs/HWOs, ASHAs and AFs to work with zeal to bring improvement  in health sector in the district.  DIPRO
