ITANAGAR, May 2: Dozens of animals were vaccinated during the free vaccination camp being conducted by the department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Yupia under the supervision of veterinary officer Dr. Marli Ete here today at Ganga village.
A meeting was also held to discuss on various points on pre-monsoon vaccination of livestock, food and mouth diseases and about the importance of vaccination for animals.
Attending the meeting, senior BJP leader Techi Necha also urged the villagers to ensure periodic vaccination of all animals to avoid any epidemic. Further stressing on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan ,he also advised the villagers to maintain cleanliness in and around the village.
