DC inaugurates school amenity
Ramsing, Dec 18: MLA 34 Tuting Yingkiong AC –cum-Advisor to Chief Minister, Alo Libang along with Deputy Commissioner, Upper Siang Talo Jerang, VKV Trust Arunachal Pradesh Education Officers Subash Chandra Dixit, Ajay Kumar and all stakeholders inspected VKV school Ramsing building on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Libang highlighted how he had initiated to bring the premier education institute at Ramsing and said ‘This was my dream project to bring a premier educational institute like VKV to our place so that the state of our education can be improved and our children can have better education.’
Echoing the sentiments of local residents who had donated the land free of cost for the school, he said that it is matter of concerned despite buildings been completed long time back, it is yet to be put to use and he urged the VKV authorities to make sure that building is brought to use for the purpose for which it has built in coordination with district administration and asserted that next academic session 2025 shall start from there itself.
Simultaneously, underscoring the responsibility of all stakeholders he said ’we have the responsibility to put our best effort to provide the younger generations with resources, opportunities and quality education to ensure that they have better future’.
The Deputy Commissioner Talo Jerang also apprised the VKV authorities about the grievances of local communities regarding early start of VKV school, Ramsing and said that asset have been already created and we need to brought it to use as early as possible and this significant step can have a positive impact on local community and their overall well being . DC also directed Govt Departments like PWD, Power, PHE & WS, Fire & Emergency Services to expedite necessary works of maintenance, electrification, water supply and fire safety measures on mission mode for handing over the building to VKV authorities as per target so that they can start their school functioning in next academic session.
He also asked the school authorities to make their mandatory requirements for pre-shifting period and assured that District Administration is always there to support and coordinate whenever they need help. Education Officer Subhash Chandra Dixit also spoke and expressed gratitude to MLA and DC for their support and assured that they will take up the matter with higher authorities for early functioning of school in coming year. He also pointed out some important observations pertaining water supply, street lighting, landscaping etc.
Ramsing village is 20 Km away from District Hq Yingkiong nestled in picturesque valley well connected with roads and communication networks presents a perfect ambience for an educational institution.
Among others entourage members were DMO, DySP, EAC Jengging, Officers from work Deptt PWD, Power, PHE & WS, Fire &Emergency Services, land donors, PRIs leaders, GBs and local residents.
