ITANAGAR, May 16: The Arunachal Indigenous Tribes Forum (AITF) - the conglomeration of 26 major tribes and its numerous sub-tribes today vehemently condemned the murder of Tamik Taki, Inspector of Tax&Excise and  urged the Home Department for the immediate arrest of the culprit and ensure capital punishment.
In a hurriedly called executive body meeting under the chairmanship of its Vice President (West), Tarh Tabin, the Forum said the condition of the long torture with hands and legs tied by 6mm GI wire with multiple injuries, exhibits the sordid episode of third degree barbaric torture before he was killed that tantamount to rarest of rare crime.
Late Taki, a permanent resident of Komsing village in Siang District was abducted from RWD Colony, Itanagar on April 22 last and his decomposed body was recovered floating in Siang river at BFCC area , Tuting on May 6. 
The house decided to join the Peaceful Candle March in the capital on May 18 next in solidarity with the Adi Ba:ne Kebang (ABK) and the bereaved family.
