ITANAGAR, Apr 14: Along with the rest of the nation, All India Radio Itanagar also remembered the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary today. In a small function in the office premises, the staff of the Radio station paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar.  
Speaking on the occasion, N Ramanjanappa, Deputy Director and Station Head AIR Itanagar, said that though Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar is known as the father of Indian Constitution, his contribution is not only limited to its drafting but he played multiple roles in building a better India. He said, one of them is the implementation of ‘Dearness Allowance’ for government servants.  Ramanjanappa appealed all his staff to follow the path of Dr. Ambedkar who devoted his whole life for betterment of the nation and its people.
Telian Tangjang (Programme Executive), Rakesh Doley (Regional News Unit Head) and other staffers of the AIR station were present on the occasion.
