PASIGHAT, May 22: Principal Secretary of Agriculture Production Sandeep Kumar and Agriculture Commissioner Bidol Tayeng accompanied by the President of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Dunggoli Libang and District Agriculture Officer Opang Moyong and other head of allied departments today visited the site of Oil Palm Mill at IGC Niglok.
The team during the day visited several locations including the oil palm field of Milo Lego at Rani village and Patanjali Foods Ltd. oil palm nursery at 5-Mile Pasighat area, interacted with oil palm growers to have a first-hand knowledge of their problems and prospects and also witnessed the weighing of FFB brought by Kunung Moyong of Mirsam village. The team also visited the Ane Dairy Plant, Siang Sabji Mandi, APMC godowns, newly constructed input storage building and ongoing construction of Smart City multiple fruit cum vegetable vendor stalls, Veterinary Training Institute (VTI) and Dairy Farm, Mushroom Development Centre (MDC) and Horticulture Nursery etc at Pasighat.
