YUPIA, Nov 10: Hundreds of aggrieved aspirants today gathered outside the District & Session Court Yupia to protest against the bail plea of District Food & Civil Supplies Officer (DFCSO) Minoty Borang.
Minoty Borang, a 2019 batch civil service officer has been arrested by the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) in connection with the 2017 Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (APPSC) civil service examination. 
She is the wife of one of the accused of APPSC (AE) Paper leakage scam Tama Saroh, an assistant teacher.
Speaking to media, Public Prosecutor Adv Kagam Bagra informed that, Minoty Borang filed a bail petition on both humanitarian and legal grounds stating that she has six minor children, but the Court has rejected the plea claiming that the case is in the nascent stage and granting bail might affect the investigation.
On October 6 last, a group of aggrieved students jointly lodged an FIR with the Special Investigation Cell (Vigilance) against Minoty Borang Saroh.
Referring to the involvement of Saroh’s husband Tama Saroh – an assistant teacher who was allegedly involved as the middleman in the APPSC AE exam question paper leakage case, in connivance with APPSC Deputy Secretary Taket Jerang – the students demanded a separate investigation into the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination, 2017.
