NAHARLAGUN, Aug 25: Members of the Arunachal Electronic and Digital Media Association (AEDMA)led by its President Toko Migom and General Secretary Sangge Droma called on Director of Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), Onyok Pertin here at his office on Thursday.
During the meeting, AEDMA apprised the Director about various issues related to the digital media in the state as well as the Advertisement Policy of the state.
President AEDMA briefed the Director about the organization and its working procedure. He also informed the officials of the DIPR  on the procedure to be a member of AEDMA. While expressing concern over mushrooming of media organizations, Toko said that only nine media organizations are registered with AEDMA who possess proper Registration from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and having offices, and running website.
Toko, also elaborated on the need for proper implementation of Advertising Policy (Digital Media) to encourage the local media organization.
Director Pertin while assuring to extend all possible support also suggested to maintain media ethics and coordinate with the department to check any kind of misinformation and misuse of media.
Meanwhile, AEDMA also felicitated Director O. Pertin for his recent promotion as the Director of DIRP.
Among others, Deputy Directors Gijum Tali, Marbang Ezing, Denga Bengia, Vice President-AEDMA Toko Tagam, Convenor-AEDMA Agam Dui, Vice President-APC Jackson Tayeng,  Office Secretary APC, June Taki were also present.
