KHONSA, Dec 19: The Anti Drug Squad of the Tirap Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered suspected brown sugar in a raid on Sunday.
The accused Ngoyum Moinyak,38, was arrested from Forest Colony, Khonsa with suspected brown sugar weighing about 48 gms.The raid was conducted based on information from sources and on further corroboration about a woman from Lazu circle peddling drugs in and around said location of the Tirap headquarters.
After observing all legal formalities, a case was registered against the peddler under NDPS Act.
