ITANAGAR, May 8:  In the backdrop of losses and damages to standing crops and other properties due to the recent hailstone and heavy downpour on May 5 last at Tarasso circle,

Tarasso Circle Youth Association has appealed the district administration and the concern department to provide immediate relief fund.

The association in its release claimed that more than three days has passed but no official has visited the affected area to assess the losses as well as to enquire about the natural disaster in the said circle.

As per report, sudden heavy rain and hailstone on the wee hours of May 5 last had destroyed many properties including standing crops, as well as house in Lower Tarasso and many other places in the circle.

The total damages are yet to be ascertained and the affected families are facing lots of problems especially in this rainy season, it said in a release.
