PASIGHAT, Aug 30:In view of the ensuing Solung Festival Celebration 2017  and for ensuring peaceful celebration ,  the East Siang District Magistrate, Tamiyo Tatak has prohibited  illegal and unauthorized selling of Alcohol—IMFL including locally brewed Rice Beer except those authorized by the various Solung Celebration Committees in the district tillSeptember 10 next.

Further, Gambling of any kind including Dice/Playing Card/Carom etc in the open including Festival Celebration Ground within entire jurisdiction of East Siang District is strictly prohibited.
