Itanagar, Aug 9: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Arunachal Pradesh today celebrated Raksha Bandhan with personnel of the Indian Army, CRPF, ITBP, State Police, and medical staff at various locations across the state.
The initiative aimed to convey heartfelt love, care, and respect to the security forces who selflessly dedicate their lives to safeguarding the sovereignty and safety of the nation. ABVP members tied sacred rakhis to the brave men and women in uniform, symbolising the traditional bond of protection and mutual respect between brothers and sisters.
Through this gesture, the organisation acknowledged the sacrifices, hardships, and unwavering commitment of the security forces, who often remain away from their families while performing their duties in challenging conditions. The celebration also brought moments of warmth and connection, offering the personnel a sense of family affection despite being far from home.
ABVP Arunachal Pradesh reiterated its deep gratitude to the security forces and affirmed its continued support for their noble mission of protecting the country and ensuring peace and security for all citizens.
