ITANAGAR, Oct 28: The Adi Baane Kebang (ABK) today clarified that one of the accused in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission paper leak case, Jobomchang Mengu is not connected to the apex body of the Adis since August earlier this year.
On 24th August 2022, he (Mengu) was relieved from the post of Secretary Headquarter cum Spokesperson after he failed to respond to calls for providing an explanation for his repeated absence from official activities of the body. Therefore, his name should not be used as ABK office bearer nor his name be mixed with the ABK and its activities, said the Adi apex body while informing that Vijay Taram has been appointed as its official Spokesperson  on 12th September.
Condemning the sale/leakage of question papers in the recent examination process for recruitment of AE, conducted by APPSC, it called for most stringent punishments against all  persons involved, from top to bottom.
There is no room for corruption in society and we all should adopt zero tolerance policy and principles towards corruption in any form. Every single person found playing with the dreams and aspirations of the youths, the future of Arunachal Pradesh should be taken to task with iron hands and be brought to justice, for their evil designs and action, it said.
Urging Jobomchang Mengu to immediately surrender and cooperate with the investigating agencies, the ABK said "no Adi should give him refuge and shield him from arrest."
 It is pertinent to state here that every Adi is agonised by the series of events unfurling in the very embarrassing and unfortunate incident of the AE exam paper leak case. ABK would also like to remind our fellow Arunachal brothers and sisters that corruption affects all communities, it is not the domain of any particular race, community, or tribe. We are all equally victimized whenever any corrupt action takes place. Corruption is done for private profiteering, it is inherently individualistic in it’s form and nature. It always takes place for private interest, for the purpose of personal gratifications. Therefore, there is absolutely no room for blaming any community for the illegal transactions between private individuals undertaken for illegal personal gratifications, the ABK said in a statement issued Friday.

ABK reiterates that there is no room for corruption in society and we all should adopt ZERO tolerance policy and principles towards corruption in any form. Every single person found playing with the dreams and aspirations of the youths, the future of Arunachal Pradesh should be taken to task with iron hands and be brought to justice, for their evil designs and action.
