BOMDILA / SEPPA, Dec 5: Showing prompt action, Seppa Police traced DFO Rupa Bittem Darrang who was abducted by five men within four hours of the incident.
Acting on the information received from  RFO Rupa,West Kameng that, DFO Rupa has been kidnapped by four unknown persons,Seppa Police arrested five persons and safely recovered the abducted DFO within four hours of the incident.
As per the report,the DFO was abducted by unknown persons from his residence at around 1 pm on Monday.  District police immediately swung into action and four teams were formed to search all possible routes of travel.
Information about a dark blue/black Kia vehicle with no number plates and photo of DFO Rupa was shared with all the check gates(Bhalukpong, Bana, Balemu). At around 1700 hrs, SP Seppa Rahul informed that the accused party was been detained at Bana checkgate and the official was also present with them. A white innova with no number plate also was recovered. 
The accused have been identified as  Michael Tajo, (33)Joy Flago(29) , Monuruddin Ali  (33) temporarily residing at P sector,Itanagar, Shamsul Ali (26) temporarily residing at Chimpu, Itanagar and Sicilia Takam Tajo (35) .  
As per preliminary investigation, accused  revealed that motive behind kidnapping was to extort a contract(s) work  from the victim, stated a press release from SP West Kameng.
Meanwhile, SP West Kameng extended special thanks to SP East Kameng, DSP Matin, SI Nishant and  Bana checkgate team.
