ITANAGAR, Dec 19: A delegation of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) jointly led by both its President Hawa Bagang and General Secretary Tobom Dai took part in the NESO organized sit-in protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi today.
Today's protest was part of the numerous agitational programme that NESO have launched for scrapping of the Bill in the recent past. Apart from AAPSU, all the component organization of NESO took part in the protest. While expressing its strong resentment, it was unanimously decided to carry on with further agitations until the Bill is scrapped altogether.
The Arunachal contingent was strongly supported by its Delhi,Chandigarh and Dehradun units.
