ITANAGAR, May 1: Irked by the lackadaisical attitude of the central and state government towards its charter of demand, All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) is going to organize mass protest rally from Akashdeep to Raj Bhawan, Itanagar on May 5 next, informed AAPSU President in its press statement.
In its 18 point charter of demand, AAPSU is demanding, immediate appointment of regular Directors at NERIST and NIT, Beautification and advanced infrastructural development in Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, Immediate renovation of Road from Bage Tinali to RGU Campus, streamlining of affiliated colleges of Rajiv Gandhi University, immediate appointment of regular Governor for Arunachal Pradesh, status quo of Engineering Wings of Non-works department (Education,
Tourism and Sports & Youth Affairs Department) creation of Engineering Wing for Directorate of Medical Education and others.
