PASIGHAT, Jan 18:  Arunachal Pradesh Health Minister Alo Libang inaugurated the 7th Chief Minister’s Veteran and Sub-veteran Badminton Championship here at the Pasighat indoor stadium amidst Bamang Tago, Honorary Secretary, ASBA, members of ESBA and badminton enthusiasts of the state.  
East Siang Badminton Association (ESBA) is organizing the 7th state level badminton tournament-2021 for various age groups on behalf of the Arunachal State Badminton Association (ASBA). More than two hundred players are participating and achievers of various groups (boys and girls) would be felicitated with prizes and certificates. 
In his inaugural address, Minister Libang appreciated ESBA for organizing the championship in true spirit providing opportunity to the players to show their skills and exhorted the youths to grab the opportunity excelling in badminton. Such sports was important for maintaining good health, said Libang adding that regular practice and activity improves fitness, boost immune system and makes everyone stress-free. 
Earlier, Bamang Tago. Honorary Secretary, ASBA in his deliberation outlined the activities of ASBA in the state as well as in the national level. 
ESBA President Dr. Naku Taloh briefed on formation of ESBA and its efforts towards development of badminton in East Siang. ESBA Secretary Dr. Narmi Darang also spoke on the occasion. DIPRO
