ITANAGAR, Jul 27: Six from Arunachal Pradesh qualified for prestigious judging positions at the National Wushu Judges Seminar and Certification Exam 2023 held at Sarla Birla University in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The event was hosted by the Ranchi Wushu Association in collaboration with the Wushu Association of India (WAI) from July 17 to 23 last.
The seminar witnessed the participation of over 300 aspiring judges. The event proved to be a remarkable milestone for Arunachal Pradesh as six of its representatives secured prestigious qualifications.
Tai Kaya and Soni Beyong qualified for the coveted status of international judges. While Techi Juna, Bangram Tungi, Kishen Chetia, and Meme Tallang qualified as national Wushu judges. Their tireless efforts and dedication throughout the seminar and examination paid off, affirming their position among the esteemed Wushu community of India.
All the six participants thanked Tadar Tach (president) and Arunachal Pradesh Wushu Association (APPWA) family for their keen support and encouragement.
