NAHARLAGUN, Oct 15: The valedictory function of the three day state level priest/shaman workshop held on Monday was attended by Advisors of IFCSAP Taba Hare and Tony Koyu.
Organized by Priest Wing, Indigenous Faith & Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP), workshop had Kaling Borang,  Er L Khimun, Tabin Karlo, and Dr Nabam Tata as resource persons.
Attending the concluding day, guest of honour Tony Koyu while exhorting the priest community said that sacrifice and dedication given by them is enormous. Citing several illustrations from history, Koyu reminded them to remain humble and not engage in any activity that degrades the priesthood and disintegrates society. He implored them to utilize their gift for the welfare of the people.
Koyu also stressed on importance of documentation of unique traditions, rituals etc of indigenous society practiced by various communities of the state. He urged the participating priest to be disciplined and focused while discharging their priestly duties.
Vice president Lod Kojin suggested for developing the institution of priest with modern times. He urged the priest community to teach and train young people in order to preserve the priesthood.
Meanwhile IFCSAP President Tajom Tasung assured that IFCSAP will always work for the betterment and upliftment of priest community. “We are trying to preserve the indigenous tradition and cultures of our society, and only by working together we can achieve this goal,” he said.
Meanwhile Secretary Priest Wing, IFCSAP Tatum Tagar while raising issues related to priests requested IFCSAP to look into social security and other welfare issues of the priest community and their families. 
He also appealed his priest fellows to support and cooperate with the Indigenous Faith & Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh and Department of Indigenous Affairs.
Speaking on the occasion IFCSAP General Secretary Bai Taba stated that IFCSAP will work for all the indigenous communities of the state and not only for particular community. He said that whatever resolutions taken during the meeting will be discussed and brought to the notice of department of indigenous affairs (DIA).
Taba also appealed them to observe and celebrate the Indigenous day fervently. He also cleared that the IFCSAP is not trying to control, but to assist and support the priest community.
Among others IFCSAP Youth Wing Secretary Kido Ado, IFCSAP Women wing president & secretary etc were present.
