ITANAGAR, Jun 8:The popular ,2nd edition of “Oorja CAPF under -19 football talent Hunt 2017” was formally flagged off here at North Eastern Frontier Headquarters campus amidst loud cheer and enthusiasm in presence of Mentor, Himveer Wives Welfare Association, NÉE FTR HQ, ITBP, Mamta Rawat.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest, Mamta Rawat, conveyed her best wishes to both Girls & Boys teams of ITBP Arunachal and said that the platform will give opportunity for the hidden talents of the state to exhibit their skill in football game through this tournament.
“It is a matter of pride that girls are also enthusiastically participating with full zeal and I hope their participation will continue in the 2nd and 3rd phase also,” opined Rawat.
Welcoming the participants, Deputy Inspector General, SK Sharma elaborated about the events, the tournament and its schedules, while Inspector General, NE FTR HQ, ITBP presented souvenir of the tournament to the chief Guest and Comdt. (staff)(CCD),SHQ(ITA) delivered vote of thanks.
