PASIGHAT, Sep 10: As a part of his developmental work for the welfare of common people under his assembly constituency on phase wise basis, Lombo Tayeng, MLA 39^th Mebo cum Advisor to Chief Minister distributed roofing materials CGI sheet to total of 200 households of Ngopok Village on Friday from his MLA LAD Fund.

While showing his strong dedication for overall development of this area, Tayeng distributed the CGI sheets to 200 needy households of the constituency’s largest village in terms of population who are yet to build pakka houses. As per public memorandum submitted to him, Tayeng also announced to accord a sanction of Rs. 50 Lakhs for the construction of two Community Halls (Musup) for Ngopok village one each for Pokkong and Pokdum (upper and lower) for the village being largest in Mebo Sub-Division and the most populous.

Addl. Dy. Commissioner, Mebo, Yemling Tayeng, Gaon Buras and PRI leaders of the area were also present during the programme.
