Assam-Arunachal border delineation exercise concludes in Lower Siang
AALO, Jul 28: The two-day mock exercise on fire accident and earthquake concluded at Aalo today. The mock exercise was initiated by the Indian Army in collaboration with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and the West Siang District Administration.
On July 26, a table top mock exercise was conducted and today, a mock exercise on fire accident was conducted at Old Market Aalo while mock Exercise on earthquake was conducted at the General Hospital Aalo.
SDO Mabi Taipodia, DDMO Nima Dorjee and India Army officers led the entire exercise Taipodia, said that that natural calamities and fire accident never come with warning and urged people to be ready for any eventuality.
Dorjee Nima, DDMO thanked all the officers, jawans of the India Army and Civil Police for cooperation and active participation of all the DDMA members.
The two days exercise was participated by DDMA members, all IRTS, key NGOs, NSS & Local volunteers, fire service and civil police of Aalo.
