Itanagar, Sep 4: As part of the Swachchta Pakhwara celebrations from September 1 to 15, students from various departments of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) have taken a pledge to clean their campus and surroundings. The students signed a banner placed in the university, committing to the noble cause.
Throughout the Pakhwara, students have actively participated in various events organized by the university, showcasing their dedication to cleanliness and environmental responsibility. To further promote the mass cleaning drive, a selfie booth has been set up, encouraging students to take photos and spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness.
By taking this initiative, RGU students aim to contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment, setting an example for others to follow. The university's efforts towards Swachchta Pakhwara demonstrate its commitment to promoting cleanliness and community service among its students.
Prof. Saket Kushwaha, Vice Chancellor and Dr. N. T. Rikam, Registrar also joined the students and teachers in this movement. Prof. Kushwaha said " I'm thrilled to witness the RGU students coming forward to take this pledge. It's a testament to the promising future of our state."
