Yazali, May 15: The Yazali Ekta Bhawan was officially inaugurated in a vibrant ceremony at the Yazali Police Station on Thursday, marking a significant milestone in the district's commitment to community policing.
The evening began with a warm reception for the Chief Guest and visiting dignitaries, followed by the ceremonial ribbon-cutting and the unveiling of a plaque that symbolises a new era of transparency and public partnership. Highlighting the spirit of growth and shared responsibility, a plantation drive was led by the Chief Guest, joined by Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti, Superintendent of Police Angad Mehta, ZPC Nabam Piju, and local community leaders.
The formal session opened with an address by IPS (P) Anurag Chopra, acting as the OC of Yazali PS, who envisioned the Bhawan as a welcoming space designed to bridge the gap between the police and the citizens they serve.
