ITANAGAR, Feb 18: The Arunachal Frontier Tribal Front led by its Chairman Tadak Nalo organised ‘Pustak Jalao Andolan’ in protest against the government's inaction on the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) paper leakage scam here on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media, Nalo expressed deep frustration over the issue, stating, "Many lives have been lost, many dreams shattered, yet the government has failed to fulfill its promise made on February 18, 2023." He emphasized that the movement reflects the growing resentment among the people of Arunachal Pradesh, who are demanding justice and accountability from the authorities.
The APPSC paper leak scam has been a long-standing concern, with widespread calls for strict action against those involved. However, the government's perceived inaction has only intensified public anger, culminating in protests like the ‘Pustak Jalao Andolan’, added Nalo.
Further, Nalo has urged citizens to boycott the Statehood Day celebrations on February 20, sending a strong message to the government. We believe that collective public support for the protest will pressure authorities to take concrete steps against those responsible for the scam.
The ‘Pustak Jalao Andolan’ marks another significant chapter in the fight for justice, as protesters continue to demand transparency and accountability from the state government, he added.
