ITANAGAR, Sep 4 : The Begam Ao Welfare Society (BAWS) has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Pema Khandu for appointing Major General Jarken Gamlin, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd.), as the State Chief Information Commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh.
The BAWS highlighted that Major General Gamlin’s appointment is a testament to the Chief Minister’s unwavering commitment to the development and welfare of the state. BAWS noted that his extensive experience and achievements, particularly in the Indian Army, make him an ideal candidate to shoulder the responsibility of the State Chief Information Commissioner. The society expressed confidence that his leadership in this role would significantly contribute to the state's fight against corruption.
"Shouldering a most benevolent responsibility like State Chief Information Commissioner, Major General Jarken Gamlin, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd.), who has achieved many milestones at the national level, especially in the Indian Army, will be truly beneficial to the state," the letter stated.
